Artichoke, Arithmetic, Apparent, Alienate...

After convincing Sarah to postpone her trip to Beijing by two days, cramming to learn all the words beginning with the letter 'A' in the English dictionary and then enduring some serious attitude from the secretly pregnant host, Sarah and I graced the stage of the Korean Quiz Show called "The Contenders". In our case, the title is somewhat ironic as we were never actually in contention to win anything. I also managed to not thank God for my appearance, unlike several of the contestants as well as the second, slightly less bitter host. Thankfully, post-defeat, Sarah and I managed to walk away fully confident that we were the best looking / most socially evolved people in the building.

We've just finished trash talking in an attempt to intimidate the opposition. And, when I say "trash talk" and "intimidate" I really mean "beg for mercy" and "lose all forms of dignity".
