Leaving Bris Vegas...
It had been since September since I last saw my Brissy girls, Peta, Monique, Simone, and Natalie. So, seeing as it was Simone's 30th birthday party I decided it was time that I made my way up to Brisbane for the weekend.
The weekend was awesome, the heat was stifling, and the alcohol was plentiful. Simone's party had an 'S' theme, meaning everyone had to go dressed as something that started with an 'S'. Simone was sergeant, Monique a sinning saint, Peta a surgeon, and I was a sleepwalker (featuring my sexy Korean silk pjs). The party also featured Mr and Mrs Smith, several schoolgirls and supermen, spiders, shrek and, well, you get the point.
I didn't get to do a whole lot of site seeing, mostly on account of excessive heat, intermittent squalls of rain, and nasty hangovers. I also didn't get to play gay bingo.
I am now back in Sydney sweating away at a restaurant on Oxford street, getting ready for Mardi Gras. Ahem. I mean, for school to begin...
